Sometimes when life becomes too overwhelming, we tend to look for a place to run away. Well, you don’t have to run away if you find that your life has been too hectic, but we reckon that a good run would do good for the mind, body and soul. However, we are not talking about you packing your bags and running away to some far away land, but to consider planning a trip to the Charles River Esplanade on a Boston rental bus and have a good run on the park to release all the pent up frustrations within you. Many say that running helps to clear the mind, and we believe that it is also a good remedy for stress too. Renting a Boston bus to to the Charles River Esplanade would certainly help because you don’t want to have additional stress of locating the place because that’s the job of the bus driver.
There are various activities that you will see happening here at the Charles River Esplanade such as kayaking, walking, jogging, and riding on bicycles. There are also couples who enjoy coming here in the evening for their dates because the park is a good place for a romantic stroll too. There are also many trees at the park, so if you enjoy reading, you can always bring along your book with you, find a good spot under a shady tree and read away. For visitors who come in a Boston rental bus, they always bring along a picnic basket and have their delicious homemade meal there with their friends. Alternatively, they would ask the bus driver to send them to some of the restaurants nearby for a sit down meal. Hence, if you prefer to spend more time there, bringing your own food would be a great idea.
Along the Esplanade, you will see many public docks and that is also a great spot to sit and people watch and enjoy the sunshine as you watch the sun rise in the morning or set in the evening. If you come here with your family, your kids will enjoy themselves very much because there are many playground sets for them to play in. Don’t be too surprised too if you suddenly hear your kids suddenly shout out to you that they have just spotted a squirrel, pigeon, hawks or owls! All you need to do is just look up into the sky and you may just be able to spot one or two.

Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum
For many people, the words “history” and “fun” do not come together in a sentence. However, if you were to make a trip to the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum in a rented Boston bus, you will soon learn that for these two words to come together in a sentence is possible. Oh, wait, did you just shake your head in unbelief that we just said that it is possible? Don’t be shaking your head anymore, pick up the phone and rent a Boston bus and start planning your trip to the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum and find out for yourself if what we just said is possible.
Unlike some historical places that you may have visited in the past where you are being guided through the museum with interactive displays or exhibits as well as listening to the tour guide tell you about the history of that place, at Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum, YOU get to be part of the history itself! Sounds exciting and out of the norm, doesn’t it? Of course it is – especially when you are not going to just leisurely stroll through the museum and view the exhibits, but you get to be part of the reenactment of the historical night of December 16, 1773 and do what the Sons of Liberty did when they dumped tea overboard. In fact, don’t just come on this trip by yourself, gather a few of your friends, rent a Boston bus and come together to be part of the act and have tons of fun!
After all the fun of tossing the tea, you and your friends will then be led to one of the replica ships where you will find one of the cast explaining the scene of what happened when the colonists got down to the docks and usually, they would have some of the audience (especially kids!) to throw a few mock tea chests overboard to further enhance the story and the experience for the guests. Next would be the tour in the museum, and then finally, before you leave on your rented Boston bus, you and your friends can have a cup of tea at Abigail’s Tea Room (with their servers all dressed up as tea ladies in the olden days) and also, if you like, you can always hop on over to the Gift Shop to purchase some souvenirs to bring home with you.

North End – the Little Italy of Boston
If you are one who enjoys sightseeing, people watching, shopping and more shopping, then you should really take trip to the North End - Boston’s oldest Italian neighborhood. To make your trip light and easy, rent a bus for this trip and to make it a really enjoyable one, bring along with you some of your likeminded friends – the ones who would also enjoy sightseeing, people watching and shopping!
Upon arriving at the North End, Boston, you and your Boston bus rental friends may even feel as though you have stepped into a mini version of the country, Italy. In fact, North End is also known as Boston’s Little Italy due to its Italian American citizens living there.
For your first stop at North End, visit the Old North Church that was built back in 1723 and after that, you and your friends may wish to adjourn to the Paul Revere House that used to be the home of American patriot, Paul Revere but now it operates as a non-profit museum managed by the Paul Revere Memorial Association. There is a small fee to be paid to enter the museum, but it’s worth it.
The North End has been touted as the place to go for authentic Italian food, so while you are there with your friends, you can easily pick any one of the restaurants and cafés and enjoy the good food with almost no complains at all. Perhaps the only complain would be that you have to leave the eatery and continue your tour in this magnificent place. While you are strolling along the North End, you will also be able to enjoy beautiful music playing from open air restaurants.
Even though the North End is also known as Little Italy in Boston, not everything there is “only Italian”. Take a walk after having your food and drinks, for a little shopping for some gifts to bring home and you will soon realize that there are many wonderful shops to shop for gifts, apparels and others.
All in all, North End has about 12 places that are found on the National Register of Historic Places and although you may not be able to visit all 12 of them, you can always go back on another trip on the rented bus to visit what you may have missed out this trip. We are pretty sure your friends would not mind making another trip to this Little Italy in Boston in the near future!

Boston Festivals on a Rental Bus
Boston is a city of all cultures: African-American, Asian, Irish, Italian and everything in between. The dining is as diverse as the population, museums abound, the historic waterfront and Charles River invite scenic strolls, and famous locations like the “Top of the Pru” and Faneuil Hall welcome visitors and residents alike. In keeping with its rich history and diversity, Boston is home to weekend fairs and festivals to suit every interest.
Boston Early Musical Festival is a two-day event for rental bus visitors who love classical music and arts The festival features an opera, a number of classical music concerts, a museum exhibition of instruments and published works, and a shopping mall of classical CDs. The festival is also affiliated with a number of other musical events, called Fringe Concerts, which are performed throughout the week before the main event Boston Christmas Festival starts on the first Friday in November and has been running for over 25 years, attracting rental bus visitors from around the country. The festival, which takes place at the Seaport World Trade Center, is a celebration of the holiday season with gingerbread house competitions and a holiday shopping fair featuring unique artisan-made gifts and decorations.
The Boston Film Festival runs over four days and exhibits new films for Boston rental bus visitors in many categories: short film, animated film, documentary and feature film. Always a star-studded event, activities take place at a number of venues specified on the schedule page of the festival’s website.
Boston Pride celebrates alternative lifestyles over two weekends in June with a lot going on in between. The first weekend features Pride Day at Faneuil Hall and the AIDS Walk where rental bus visitors are invited to participate, while weekend two festivities include the downtown Pride Parade and Pride Festival, as well as block parties throughout the city and the final closing celebration.
Every September, Columbus Avenue in Boston explodes with everything jazz. The Berklee College of Music’s homage to this musical art is the Berklee BeanTown Jazz Festival, which includes 10 stages with 20 bands and more than 100 musicians. The concerts require rental bus visitors to purchase tickets, but the outdoor festival of food, arts and crafts, and music-related products and services is free, and typically attracts about 80,000 attendees, including rental bus visitors.

Boston on the bounce
Beautiful Boston, Massachusetts is a historical city worth visiting any time of the year, especially with kids, using a rental bus. The largest city and urban center of New England, visiting Boston is made easy with a charter bus, coach bus, party bus, mini bus, passenger coaches or school bus rented from Boston Bus Rentals. Traveling around Boston with a stylish, comfortable rental bus makes good sense, because you can give your full attention to your kids while your reliable rental bus driver takes care of the driving.
When visiting Boston, and you have the kids in the rental bus with you, make sure you stop at the Boston Children’s Museum. Holding over 50,000 items in its permanent collection that are exhibited on a rotation basis, the Boston Children’s Museum is dedicated to the education of children in an amusing and informative way, without the rigid structure of traditional teaching methods. Best suited for kids aged 10 and below, the museum offers a hands on, interactive educational experience, with an emphasis on environmental awareness, science, health, culture and arts. The Boston Children’s Museum is a quick rental bus ride from downtown Boston, and is worth a visit any time of the year for its constantly changing temporary exhibits.
Head down to the Boston waterfront in your rental bus, and visit the New England Aquarium. Opened in 1969, the New England Aquarium is home to a wide range of sea and land creatures. Some of the animals that call the aquarium home are African penguins, Atlantic Harbor seals, green sea turtles, sharks, stingrays and lionfish. Of particular note are the Amazing Jellies exhibit and the Thinking Gallery. The Amazing Jellies exhibit showcases moon jellies, sea nettles, upside-down jellies, Palauan Lagoon jellies and Australian spotted jellies, from diverse habitats around the world. For a hands on experience, try the Edge of the Sea tide pool, where visitors can touch sea stars, sea urchins, snails, hermit crabs, and horseshoe crabs, or the Shark and Ray Touch Tank, giving you an up close experience with cownose rays and chain dog fish. Children aged 9 and older can feed and play with the seals, or give them a bath, in the Come Play with the Seals program. Just don’t take the seal home on the rental bus with you!
Get off the rental bus at Faneuil Hall in the middle of Boston and take the Little Feet Freedom Trail Tour. Tailored for children aged 6 to 12, this walking tour follows a trail that showcases the historical buildings and sites that were important in the American Revolution, and lead to the formation of the United States. Among the sites covered are the former Boston Latin School, the first public school in the United States; the Old South Meeting House; Faneuil Hall and the Old State House. Everyone gets an Explorer’s Map that highlights the sites they’ve visited, and offers information on other interesting sites nearby.

The Boston Marathon
Driving in Boston is not for the faint of heart. A less than ideal road system, due to the layout of a city that was ‘grown’, rather than planned, makes Boston Bus Rentals services a logical choice when it comes to traveling. Due to the historic nature of Boston, and it being one of the oldest cities in the United States, it comes as no surprise to learn that the Boston Marathon is the second oldest foot race in the country.
Beginning in April of 1897, the Boston Marathon was organized by the Boston Athletic Association. Held on Patriot’s Day, or the third Monday of April, this historical foot race has continued to this day, making it the oldest continuously run marathon in world. It’s inclusion into the list of the five World Marathon Majors, has made the Boston Marathon famous among runners around the world, both amateur and professional.
The Boston Marathon is a point to point race for Boston charter bus tourists and visitors from out of town. This means that the race finishes at a different point from the start, as opposed to the start/finish line being at the same location, as in most other marathons. From its starting point in Hopkinton, the Boston Marathon course traverses winding course through the city, finishing at the center of the city in Copley Square, alongside the Boston Public Library.
The Boston Marathon is considered to be one of the more difficult races on the world marathon calendar. This is because the marathon runs across a series of hills. When you come and join up this amazing Boston charter event, you will get to explore the well-known Newton Hills, which culminate in Heartbreak Hill, near Boston College. Situated on the course where most runners are at the point of “hitting the wall”, many runners are forced to a walking pace.
In 2011, Geoffrey Mutai ran the world’s fastest ever marathon in a time of 2:03.02 at Boston. Although there was some controversy over the non recognition of the record by governing bodies, measures are being taken to amend the rules to allow inclusion of Mutai’s record breaking run.
Over 500,000 watch the Boston Marathon, which raises money for over 20 charities. It is touted as New England’s most widely viewed sporting event. Crowds line both sides of the course to cheer on runners, providing them with drinks and snacks. They are especially supportive of amateur runners.
All this adds up to major traffic congestion in Boston when the marathon is held. To avoid any traffic delays, one option would be to hire a charter bus, coach bus, passenger charter bus, party bus, mini bus or school bus from Boston Bus Rentals to ensure that your group can get to where they need to be on time, in safety and comfort.
